A native New Yorker, Ashley E. Sweeney is the Nancy Pearl Award-winning author of four novels: "The Irish Girl," "Hardland," "Answer Creek: A Novel of the Donner Party," and "Eliza Waite." When she is not writing, Sweeney enjoys gardening, reading, art quilting, mosaic and traveling. She makes her home in the Pacific Northwest and Tucson.
