Jessica Roy is a journalist and editor who splits her time between Paris and the U.S. Previously, she served as the Digital Director of ELLE Magazine, where she oversaw content and strategy for ELLE.com, as well as the News Editor of New York Magazine’s The Cut. She is also an Adjunct Professor at New York University. In addition to her writing on trends, style and culture, Roy has reported on women’s rights in Saudi Arabia, refugee displacement in Iraq, Kurdish female fighters in Syria and Yazidi survivors of ISIS.
