Tucson Festival of Books

Brian Mulcahey

Brian Mulcahey has been an educator and scientist for the last decade. His extensive field experience includes studying birds of the South Pacific, the Yucatan Peninsula and the Peruvian Amazon. Brian believes that one of the best ways to support wildlife conservation is by shining the light on the knowledge and effort by indigenous scientists and communities. In 2023, he received the National Science Teacher Association's Robert E. Yager Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Over 215 authors self-nominated and submitted a book for review for our Reimagined Indie Author Experience.  Teams of genre judges read every book which resulted in the following Indie Authors being invited to participate on a Presenting Author Panel during the 2024 Tucson Festival of Books. Congratulations to all!
