Matthew Don is a local author who enjoys intertwining humor and serious topics into intriguing stories. His first novella was, "A Celebration of the History of Celebrating History," an adult comedy and coming of age story. After a hiatus, Matthew returned to writing and, along with his brother and illustrator Christopher Don, released the "Adventures of Luca and Kai: The Moon Queen." This middle grade sci-fi fantasy chronicles two brothers’ journey into a universe. He has released the second book in the Luca and Kai series, "The Celestial Samurai."
