Lisa A McGraw (she/her)

none

Lisa McGraw is an author and illustrator dedicated to sharing with toddlers, beginning readers and those who read with them, that learning about science can be fun. Her goal is to get children excited about science from the earliest age onward.  The use of large print, low word counts and rhyming text, make her stories fun and easy to read. Art and technology bring her pages to life. She digitally uses pictures of rocks and minerals to build the background scenes, then adds photos of her handcrafted clay props and characters with googly eyes to create bright full-color pages. Colorful glossaries at the end of her books create even more opportunities for learning.

Her newest book follows time-traveling, alien robots who want nothing more than to learn about the dinosaurs who once roamed Earth.
