Tucson Festival of Books

Linda Laird


Linda Laird is President/Coordinator of Books for Classrooms which she helped found in 2019. This volunteer group has provided over 70,000 multicultural and STEAM books to schools in Pima County, Arizona. She created Desert Ink Press, an inclusive community press to share local and regional multicultural stories with children. The Press is initially focusing on bilingual Tohono O’odham books with other cultures to be added soon.
