
Renata Keller is a historian of Latin America and the Cold War, and the author of the newly published "The Fate of the Americas," the first hemispheric history of the Cuban missile crisis. Her novel "Mexico's Cold War," won SECOLAS’s Alfred B. Thomas Book Prize and received multiple honorable mentions. A professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, she has published widely in academic journals as well as in The Washington Post and History Today. She co-edits InterConnections: The Global Twentieth Century, a book series with UNC Press.
