David Leaf is an award-winning writer, director and producer, whose most recent books are "SMiLE: The Rise, Fall & Resurrection of Brian Wilson" and "God Only Knows: The Story of Brian Wilson, the Beach Boys & the California Myth." He directed the documentary on Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Dion, and wrote, produced and directed "To Tell The Truth." Leaf is best known for his Grammy-nominated "The Pet Sounds Sessions," his Wilson biography, and writing "The Bee Gees," an authorized autobiography. Currently Leaf has been teaching at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music.
