Ariel Strobel
Tammy Schwartz StrobelAriel Fawn Strobel, the illustrator of "Niko's Noisy Neighborhood," has been a Tucson local artist for the past decade. Born and raised in New York, she studied Studio Art at Skidmore College. The Sonoran Desert has become an inspiration for her, from the wildlife, companion animals, and the all encompassing plants and landscapes. She grew up as a neighbor of Rita Mondello, the author of "Niko's Noisy Neighborhood," in the neighborhood the book is based on. This has brought a personal connection to the story.
