Sue Hinkin is the author of the award-winning thriller series, The Vega & Middleton novels, featuring the investigative team of Los Angeles TV news journalist Beatrice Jackson and best friend, photographer Lucy Vega. A former Cinematography Fellow at the American Film Institute, Hinkin has worked in higher education and was a TV news photographer like her character, Lucy. She was recently voted Rocky Mountain Fiction Writer’s Writer of the Year. Her newest novel is "The Snake Handler's Wife."
