David R. Davis writes contemporary novels, short stories and poetry. He has published three novels - "Running In, Walking Out," "The Unusual Man" and "the sun will rise." He has also published a book of short stories - "Cardboard Heroes" and two poetry chapbooks - "A Brief Moment Called Life" and "Finding Home." His work has also been published by Running Wild Press, The Arizona State Poetry Society and The Pointed Circle. David served as a medic with the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam and had a thirty-year career as a social worker and therapist. He lives in sunny Arizona.
