Andrew Ross, a social activist, is a professor of Social and Cultural Analysis at NYU. A contributor to The Guardian, The New York Times, The Nation, and Al Jazeera, he is the author of almost 30 books, including "Abolition Labor: The Fight to End Prison Slavery," "Sunbelt Blues: The Failure of American Housing," "Stone Men: The Palestinians Who Built Israel," and "The Celebration Chronicles: Life, Liberty and Property Values in Disney's New Town." His most recent book is "The Weather Report: A Journey Through Unsettled Climates."
