Steph Littlebird

Steph Littlebird is an artist, author, curator and enrolled member of Oregon's Grand Ronde Confederated Tribes. Littlebird is known for her vibrant graphic imagery combining the traditional styles of her Indigenous ancestors with contemporary illustration aesthetics. The children's book, "My Powerful Hair," made in collaboration with bestselling Indigenous author Carole Lindstrom, earned the 2024 Carter G. Woodson Book Award. Her most recent books are "You Are the Land" and "Body Beautiful." Littlebird lives and works in the Pacific Northwest.
