Brenna Thummler has never robbed a mailbox or run away from home. She has far better things to do, like making soups and performing in local musical acts. When the urge to escape strikes, she, instead, curls up in her library and writes, a method that led to her acclaimed “Sheets” trilogy. Her latest works include “Lights” and the deluxe “Sheets Collection.” Her upcoming middle grade graphic novel “Gumshoe” was released in January.
