Laura Russell


Laura Russell is a photographer and book artist creating hand-bound, limited-edition artist books. Her work captures the vernacular—hand-painted signs, weathered storefronts, cultural artifacts—to tell stories about our culture and our communities. Her books are in major collections, including SF MoMA, Baylor University, Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, and the Hyundai Museum in South Korea. Laura is the founder of 23 Sandy Gallery, which is now located in Santa Fe. She currently lives in Tucson.
