E. Lockhart is the author of the number one New York Times bestseller "We Were Liars." She also invented a superhero for D.C. Comics. Her books include "Whistle: A New Gotham City Hero," "Again Again," "The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks," a National Book Award Finalist and a Printz Honor Book, and "Genuine Fraud," a New York Times bestseller and a finalist for the LA Times Book Prize. Her newest title is "Family of Liars."

Comics and graphic novels are now widely celebrated in schools and libraries. They’re a great way to engage readers. So what’s it like to invent a brand-new hero who fights Batman villains? Lockhart takes participants inside the creative process on her superhero book "Whistle" and gives a bit of superhero history, as well. Join E. Lockhart, author of "Family of Liars," "We Were Liars" and many other YA novels.

Meet a bunch of YA authors in 60 minutes and enter teen worlds of fantasy, mystery and complicated relationships. Each author will be seated at a table to talk with a small group about their newest book. Every eight minutes the authors will rotate to a new table in our version of author speed-dating.
