Don Winslow is the author of 21 novels, many of them international bestsellers. His latest is "The Border," the explosive conclusion to a "cartel trilogy" that included "The Cartel" and "The Power of the Dog." "The Border" was was selected as one of the best books of the 2019 by The Washington Post, NPR, The Sunday Times, and The Financial Times. An earlier novel, "Savages," was made into a feature film by director Oliver Stone. "The Force" was sold to 20th Century Fox with director James Mangold and screenwriter Scott Frank attached.  "The Border" will air as a weekly series on FX beginning in 2020. A former investigator, antiterrorist trainer and trial consultant, Winslow lives in California and Rhode Island.
