Oms

Inspired by the 1973 animated film “Fantastic Planet”, the name ‘Oms’ presented itself as a strangely suiting name for Fenzi and Delozier's newfound musical project that the two Arizona-natives established in early 2023.

In the film, the viewer finds themselves engrossed in a wildly creative animated story, dissecting the relationship between the imperfect (sometimes barbaric) reality of human nature with the exponential power and potential of technology.

Unsatisfied and looking for a fresh route through musical expression, the duo solidified their vision, in what has become a continuously growing and evolving format.

Oms pairs their love of organic instrumentation (guitar, keys, drums) with the undeniable power of expression through technology, (samplers, synthesizers, effects), resulting in a uniquely dynamic listening and performative experience.

Oms performs 100% original, instrumental-based music. Self-coined "cinematic groove" or "music to exist in", the Tucson, AZ based duo fosters a theme of long-form, musical storytelling, allowing each performance to be tailored exclusively to the environment and desired atmosphere.
