Andrew Milward

Andrew Malan Milward was born in Lexington, Kentucky, and grew up in Lawrence, Kansas. He played basketball at Western Connecticut State University and is a graduate of the University of Arizona and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop....

Michael Powell has been a Sports of The Times columnist at The New York Times since 2014. Prior to that, he wrote the Gotham column for the Metro section, was a national economics writer for Business and covered the Barack Obama and Rudy Giuliani presidential campaigns in 2008....
