Tucson authors Chris Rush and Ander Monson often bring unique and unexpected perspectives to their work, both in style and substance. In this session, Rush and Monson will reveal where these ideas come from—and why they so enjoy challenging popular convention.

Ander Monson

Ander Monson is the author of eight books of nonfiction, poetry and fiction, including "I Will Take the Answer" and "The Gnome Stories." A finalist for the New York Public Library Young Lions Award and a National Book Critics Circle in criticism, he is also a recipient of a number of other prizes: a Howard Foundation Fellowship, the Graywolf Nonfiction Prize, the Annie Dillard Award for Nonfiction, the Great Lakes Colleges New Writers Award in Nonfiction and a Guggenheim Fellowship....
