Affectionately known as Hubbell’s, the Western National Parks Association-operated Hubbell Trading Post is the oldest continuously operating trading post in the American Southwest. Southwest American Indian artisans trade or sell their authentic and high-quality craftworks. For generations, Hubbell’s has been “the” place to buy top-quality Navajo rugs and jewelry. The West’s history, culture and tradition still live here. Trader Irvin Jones weaves a tale of the history of Hubbell Trading Post and Navajo weaving.
