Science City Open House/Tour Participant Application

Deadline to Apply: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 15th, 2019 at 5pm

Participation Requirements:

  • Required to participate during Festival hours 9:30am - 5:30pm
  • Participant to approve promotional flyer provided to Tent Manager based on submitted application. Upon approval, a final PDF version will be supplied to participant and added to sciencecity.arizona.edu
  • Participant must create and all tour tickets at least two weeks prior to event. Tickets may be dropped off at UA Flandrau Planetarium in a labeled envelope or box
  • Provide a professional presentation of your open house/tour
  • Hang signage identifying your location (banner, poster, etc.). Science City will provide one 24" x 36" poster
  • Staff / volunteer(s) must wear shirt, vest or name tag that identifies your organization during event
  • Attend Science City logistics meeting (February day / time / location TBA)

Facilities Management Requirements:

Open House / Tour Participants are required to contact Facilities Management (FM) (Luis Rocha 520-621-1599) upon application submission to obtain a quote for required services and to submit a KFS#. FM services are required and vary based on your usage and A/V needs. All costs associated with FM services are the responsibility of the department/unit. Applications will not be reviewed and approved until after the submission deadline of October 15, 2019 and contact with FM is confirmed.
