Join us for the annual Creative Arts Teen Summit (CATS) on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm to launch the Tucson Festival of Books at the University of Arizona.

On CATS Friday, around 200 students from middle and high schools in Tucson come to the College of Education to attend writing and illustration workshops led by award-winning young adult and middle grade book creators.
Reasons to attend:
It’s free!
Each student receives a book and has the opportunity to get it signed by the author or illustrator
Visit to the University of Arizona campus
Lunch is provided
Scholarships for buses are available
*Please note that Friday, March 14 falls during spring break or is a teacher in-service day for many school districts; please make arrangements accordingly.
