Hi everyone. It is a miracle that at 83, I am fulfilling my life's dream to be an author! Actually in 1985, I wrote a book, "A Global Golden Magical Holiday Journey For The Winter Solstice." It is a charming and adventurous children's book in allegorical rhyme form like Aesop's Fables. Also, in 1973, I wrote a children's book, "What Happened To Raymond The Racoon During Valentine's Month?" As hard as I tried, it was impossible to find a publisher. I was so sad. Yet now in August 2023, I opened my own publishing company, Beverlywood Publishing! And now with the wonderful platforms available, we indie authors can self-publish our own books! So 50 years later, i am able to publish my own books! I want everyone to know they can fulfill their life's dream too!
As a single mom, I worked three jobs to obtain my BA degree in English Literature and in Graduate School, I received my Lifetime Teaching Credential grades K-12. I loved teaching. I loved my students. I mainly taught English Literature in High School!
I do hope that you all also accomplish your Dreams and never give up! If you can't accomplish your Dreams, then create a new path in your life and create New Dreams to accomplish.
And now my third new wonderful book, "Oh My Gosh! How Did The Children Save Lavender Island?" is published. It is such a magical and charming book. It was so much fun creating the artwork with my husband, Donald. The art is so amazing! And I had so much fun creating the story, which is also so amazing! At present Donald and I and our wonderful Lhasa Apso, Sanjay, live in Oro Valley, Arizona. Our wonderful son, Mark is traveling a lot, and we are so excited when he comes home to share all his adventures!
