Laura Numeroff is the New York Times bestselling author of "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie." Her new picturebook, "Max and Mama," is about a family of Corgis. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Laura grew up surrounded by art, music and books. She has published 49 titles and visited schools in every state except Idaho and Hawaii. She funded the Florence and William library in Malawi, Africa, and donates a portion of her royalties to the non-profit First Book. Laura resides in Los Angeles with her dog, Eloise, and her cat, Henry.
