Tucson Festival of Books

Mike Clark

Mike Clark uses slam poetry as a vehicle to practice vulnerability and reflection. Through his writing and performance, he underscores the importance of authenticity and self-growth, encouraging others to embrace their true selves. Beyond just the poetry, Mike has discovered a community committed to lifting one another up. He genuinely believes writing or performing poetry can help a person heal one poem at a time.  He is a devoted father of three boys, a loving husband, and a passionate educator.
