Don Winslow is the author of 21 crime fiction novels, eight of them New York Times bestsellers. "Savages" was made into a film by Oliver Stone. His novella, "Crime 101," is being filmed for Amazon MGM, and "City on Fire" is in production at Sony Studios. A former private investigator and photographic safari guide, Winslow is coming to Tucson his latest whodunit, "City in Ruins." He announced his retirement as a writer of mysteries last summer.
