Tim Weiner has won the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award for his reporting and writing on American intelligence and national security. As a reporter at The New York Times, he covered the CIA in Washington, as well as wars, conflicts, and crises in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Sudan. His new book, "The Mission: The CIA in the 21st Century," was ranked No. 3 on The New York Times bestseller list upon its publication. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Kate Doyle, an expert on human rights.
