Tucson Festival of Books

Brent Miller

Since I was a young child, I have been enamored with telling stories.  When I was thirteen, that became a love of writing and I wrote my first novel.  In high school, I spoke to various groups and was on the news and radio.  Those were the highlights of my high school years, for sure, but it wasn't until I started doing events like the Tucson Festival of Books and other various book signings when I fell in love with the idea of being an author.  For me, these chances I have to connect with readers are invaluable, and I dream of a future where I can have such conversations every day.

For now, I try to incorporate a bit of myself and everything I've learned in my writing.  Life has taken a bit of a different direction than I anticipated, and I have trained in multiple martial arts (earning a black belt in Tang Soo Do), and started my career as an Engineer.  All of that knowledge and experience serves to give my stories a heart, and I cherish every experience which fuels that dream.

I can't wait to see you and talk to you at the Festival!
