Ariel Rathbun (she/her)


Ariel Rathbun's creative paths include dance, physical theater, photography and painting. She is both adopted and a birthmother, her adoption memoir is told in a celestial theme with a mix of poetry, prose, and storytelling and delves into the ethereal, the natural world, visceral experience and a touch of whimsy. Poetry has been a constant companion in Rathbun's life. She has studied with teachers at Hugo House and others in Seattle where she currently lives with one man, one cat and one dog. "Beautiful Bastards" is her current work.
