Tucson Festival of Books

Join Us For Imagination Fridays with Author Mariana Rios Ramírez

Join us on Friday, November 8, 1:00 to 1:45 to meet Mariana Rios Ramírez to explore her new book,"Abuelita’s Gift: A Día de Muertos Story" about a young girl who is eager to honor her Abuelita’s spirit on
Día de Muertos but struggles to find the perfect gift. Mariana will introduce her new book and her process of writing this book, invite children to consider a gift they would give to a loved one, and answer questions. The book is also available in a Spanish edition.

Imagination Fridays is co-sponsored by the Tucson Festival of Books and Worlds of Words/University of Arizona and will occur one Friday in September and one in November 2024 at 1:00-1:45 pm with an author
