Vickie Gardner is an award-winning author and an aerospace proposal manager, residing in Littleton, Colorado, with her husband and two cats. Vickie is living her lifelong dream of being a published author of children’s books. She is the author of “The Ghost of Morgan Gulch,” a middle-grade novel set in the Rocky Mountains, a story based on a true-life family property, her two eldest grandchildren and a family ghost. Vickie has also penned a delightful children’s bi-lingual series "The Adventures of Darby," published in English and Spanish.
Vickie is a two-time award winner in the Hindi’s Libraries 2024 Females of Fiction Literacy contest for her middle-grade novel “The Ghost of Morgan Gulch.” She received the 2023 Editor’s Choice – Award of Excellence by London’s Reader’s House Magazine for her January 2024 interview and featured on the cover in their April 2024 issue. She received an Honorable Mention for her short story Love on the Wild Frontier, and won second place in a Sportman’s News contest for her short story A Hunter’s Dream.
Through her stories, Vickie hopes to inspire resilience and self-belief in young readers and offer a guiding light through life’s trials.
