David Davis is the author/editor of six books, including "Waterman: The Life and Times of Duke Kahanamolu," "Showdown at Shepherd's Bush" and, most recently, "Wheels of Courage." Davis started his career as a journalist with the LA Weekly newspaper. His work has appeared in Sports Illustrated, Smithsonian Magazine and The Wall Street Journal. Davis was born and raised in New York City and now lives in Los Angeles.
