Ann Anderson Evans is a writer, linguist and professor of writing. Twice a wife and once a widow, she’s a mother and grandmother. She has traveled and lived in many countries and speaks six languages.

Her first memoir, "Daring to Date Again" (SheWrites Press, 2014) won multiple awards*. Her second memoir, "The Sweet Pain of Being Alive" (Austin Macauley) was published in 2024. She narrated both audiobooks, and was nominated for Author Narrator of the Year by SOVAS (the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences). A short story, Precious  Love was nominated for the Pushcart Prize in 2023. Other short stories and essays have been published widely. Ann has appeared frequently on television, radio, and podcasts and continues to give writing workshops.

She shares her experiences and insights on Facebook and on her blog (https://annandersonevans.com/blog) drawing on a well-traveled lifetime and a sense of humor and joy. She lives in Vermont.
