Award winning illustrator Eliza Kinkz will discuss how she keeps the life in her illustrations by allowing herself to be playful and not get too serious. As she demonstrates her techniques, Eliza will discuss how to play as an artist, and that it's never too late to engage with the kid inside each of us. Scribbling outside the lines is encouraged. Come prepared to play with her, and discover where you've been holding back as an artist. Eliza Kinkz will demonstrate her use of bright colors and humor in watercolors. She is a Tejana artist who illustrates hilarious picturebooks, including "Papá's Magical Water-Jug Clock" and "Mama's Magnificant Dancing Plantitas."
