Joanna Barnett (she/her) is a slam poet who lives in Tucson, AZ. She is the author of two poetry collections: "Snake Pit" (310 Brown Street, 2019) and "DNA Like Jam" (310 Brown Street, 2023). She started performing poetry because she is monstrously competitive but cannot play traditional sports, so had to find an outlet for her need to crush the opposition. She has been flattening her poetic rivals like an eldritch horror since 2016.
